In 1990 Saber painted his first graffiti piece. For 15 years he has been on a prolific path pushing the progression of contemporary street art. In 1997 Saber painted the world’s largest graffiti piece on the cement banks of the Los Angeles River. Measuring 250’ by 55’ and requiring 125 gallons of latex roller paint, this piece is considered one of the most important pieces in graffiti history. Upper Playground will be hosting a BBQ and Book Signing for Saber, Sunday, July 14, 2007, 4:00-8:00pm. All are invited to attend this hot summer event. We’ll keep you posted with more info but for now check out check this shirt and more of Sabers new season shirts here.
